PLAYER GUIDE / LINUX BUILDS
AI-assisted games
for Linux players.
A mystery, a dungeon party, a football simulation and a racing demo. Compare the exact Linux editions, their requirements and the human and AI work behind them.
Choose the kind of game first
| Game | Current Linux offer | The hook |
|---|---|---|
| One Rainy Night | Released, paid full game | Inventory puzzles in an emptied town |
| Dungeons & Death | Released, paid full game | Build a dungeon party; optionally face a human Director |
| RULEBALL | Released, paid full game | Change the rules while the footballers play themselves |
| Eldritch Drift | Separate free demo | Local kart racing with gods and forged spells |
All four have concrete AI-development accounts, with human direction or editing kept in the picture. The Linux offers differ: three are full releases, while the racer’s demo has a platform listing of its own. These are developer platform declarations, not a Steam Deck performance rating.

One Rainy Night: follow a missing cat into a mystery
Detective Cole arrives in Sleepy Falls to collect his cat and finds an emptied town. Inventory and environmental puzzles, a context-sensitive cursor and hints shape the investigation. Difficulty can ease after failed attempts, and the story has three endings.
The paid full game lists Linux support. Its Linux minimum specifies 2 GB of RAM and 1 GB of storage; the OS, processor and graphics fields give no further detail. Check that sparse specification against your machine rather than borrowing the Windows requirements.
The developer credits Claude-assisted source code, dialogue and the procedural code behind the pictures and soundtrack. Ben M Stroud wrote the underlying story. The developer directed, reviewed, curated and tested the assisted work.

Dungeons & Death: build a party, then pressure it
Choose an expedition length and combine the Warrior, Wizard, Rogue and Monk’s skills. The action roguelite supports solo play or up to four heroes online. An optional human Director can spend resources to make the expedition harder.
The released paid game lists a native Linux version. Minimum requirements include a 64-bit Linux distribution released after 2018, an SSE4.2-capable x86-64 processor, OpenGL 3.3 graphics, 4 GB of RAM and 1 GB of storage. Ubuntu 22.04 LTS or newer is recommended for support. Broadband is also listed, so this is not an offline-play recommendation.
Its production disclosure spans pre-generated pixel-art assets, effects, voices and music, plus portions of code, tests and documentation. The developer selected, edited, integrated and tested those outputs.

RULEBALL: coach around the rules
The footballers play themselves. Your decisions change the match around them: a rule can widen both goals or add balls, and its effects apply to both squads. Choose the rule that better fits your players, build a club through leagues and cups, or share a custom Rule Lab setup as a code.
The released paid game lists Linux support, with Ubuntu 22.04 or another 64-bit distribution, 2 GB of RAM, OpenGL 3.3 graphics and 300 MB of storage in its minimum requirements.
Claude assisted with code, vector art, text and synthesized music and effects. The developer directed and reviewed the work. Automated football simulation here is separate from generative AI: the disclosure says nothing is generated with AI during play.

Eldritch Drift: check the separate demo
Drift to gain favor from old gods and combine runes into altered spells. The racer supports local split-screen, and two players can share a keyboard.
The free demo lists Windows and Linux. The upcoming full game currently lists Windows and a planned 2027 release. Use the demo offer when checking Linux access: its platform listing does not establish the full game’s eventual Linux support.
In a 2 November development account, the creator credited Claude Code with nearly all code and Blender scripting, and Meshy with racers and karts. Human work included design, direction and playtesting. The NumPy-synthesized music is a separate process from an AI music model.
Match the offer to your machine
Start with the edition you want and its current requirements. A Linux listing alone does not settle Steam Deck controls, Proton, Wayland or performance on a particular machine.
