GAME DISCOVERY / Grid action / roguelite
Snake: Gridbreaker
Turn a growing snake into a build you can shape.

The readable starting rule is familiar: a snake moves around a grid and grows. Gridbreaker adds an action-roguelite structure, upgrades and elemental tail effects. The attraction is the combination of an immediately understandable movement problem with decisions about the build you are assembling.
The developer’s current disclosure lists programming, visual assets, icons, UI and localization among the areas supported by generative AI. It also mentions quality-of-life and accessibility work. That gives a more useful account of the production than a generic AI-made label, although it does not quantify the share of code or assets produced by a model.
The developer retains responsibility for the mechanics, progression and creative direction and says assisted elements were reviewed, edited, tested and implemented personally. AI assistance across several domains does not erase those design decisions. It is also distinct from the game generating content while you play: the disclosure explicitly excludes that.
At the 19 October check the game is upcoming, with 3 November listed as its intended release date. A free demo is available. Dates and demo availability can change, so use the current store page before planning a session. This is a project to explore for its grid-based action, not evidence that an AI tool automatically creates a complete game.
