GAME DISCOVERY / Hardware puzzle
Hello Triangle:
Build a GPU
A wrong pixel becomes a clue to the circuit that drew it.

What kind of puzzle is it?
A triangle is usually something a game draws for you. Here, making the picture is the puzzle. Connect arithmetic and logic components into graphics hardware, then compare the resulting pixels with a target. The creator also describes an error inspector: select a bad pixel to revisit the circuit cycle that produced it.
That is the appealing reversal. A visual mistake can point back to a particular calculation. For someone attracted to engineering puzzles, the question becomes how to turn an image into a set of relationships, rather than how quickly to perform an action.
Reading the screenshot
The pictured level asks for pixels where y > 2x + 3. At x = 0, the threshold is 3: y = 4 satisfies the rule, but y = 3 does not. At x = 5, the threshold becomes 13. The strict greater-than sign matters.
The boundary changes with x, and equality stays unlit. The next step belongs to the player: expressing that relationship with the available parts.
Try the current Steam demo
The main Steam page offered a free demo when checked on 29 October. The creator’s 28 October itch.io v0.5.0 update describes fifteen Act 1 levels, reusable packaged parts and a Debug view. The itch.io download is offered for Windows, macOS and Linux; Steam and itch.io builds have not been independently compared.
The full game remains planned for Early Access in Q1 2027. The clip below is the original 21 October excerpt and is not presented as footage of the new build.
THE PRODUCTION, SPECIFICALLY
AI helped make it. The circuit computes the picture.
- Disclosed AI assistance
- Steam currently identifies AI-made music. The creator’s itch.io metadata also lists AI assistance in code, graphics, sounds and text. A 28 October v0.5.0 update says the AI-made main-menu image was replaced by a 3D room and that the game now has no AI images.
- What that means for play
- The pixels drawn by the player’s circuit are calculated by the game. The current disclosure does not establish a measured share of AI-written code or AI authorship.
These are attributed production disclosures, not a measured percentage of AI authorship.
